Custom Bets are an exciting new way to profit from movements in popular markets. They allow you to tailor your bet to your views on the market while matching your potential return with how much you wish to risk.
Custom Bets are a simple way to take a view on small, rapid market movements. You build your bet by choosing a market and the direction you think it will move, plus how much you are willing to stake, while Custom Bets calculates your potential profit.
What are Custom Bets?
Custom Bets are short-term bets you create yourself. They are easy to build: choose your market, your stake and the direction in which you think the market will head, and we will tell you how much you stand to win or lose.
So, instead of relying on us to tell you what we’re offering, you can pick the market you’re interested in, the level you expect it to hit, and how much you are prepared to stake. At the same time, we will tell you how much you could win or lose.
In Custom Bets, use the drop-down menu to choose your market and the sliding scale to set your chosen level, expiry time and stake.
Accessing Custom Bets
Custom Bets can be accessed through PureDeal – just log into your account and look for the Custom Bets button in the left hand navigation panel. This will open a new window where you can place your Custom Bets.
The first time you access Custom Bets, we automatically set up a special sub account for you. You will need to transfer funds from your main PureDeal account before you can place a bet. Transferring funds is free, instant and easy: simply use the button on the main Custom Bets menu (see image below). Once you have done this, you can start creating your Custom Bets (see image below).
Markets
Custom Bets are available on a range of markets including the FTSE® 100, Wall Street, Germany 30, SP500, Crude Oil, USD/JPY, EUR/USD and GBP/USD.
Typically, Custom Bets are based on short expiry times, starting at just two minutes and extending up to one week.
