Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that isn't answered here, just give us a call on 1800 601 734.
What does an open position look like on a chart?
A blue line shows you the level that you 'bought' or 'sold' at. Note that if you have more than one position in the same instrument the blue line will show the average level that you opened at.
How can I close a trade on a chart?
Trades should be closed directly from PureDeal. The closure will then be reflected on the chart.
The price crossed my order line - why wasn't I filled?
Please remember that orders are triggered by our 'bid' and 'offer' price - but the charts display our mid price. Sometimes therefore an order line will be marginally breached without your order being filled.
How can I turn DealThru Charts off?
Click on the green DealThru Charts icon in the right-hand corner of the main menu in the charting package. Then select 'Disconnect'.
Can Limited Risk account-holders use DealThru?
